The LeatherHead Tools New York Claw with Hook and Halligan with Strap is a versatile forcible entry tool designed for prying, pulling, lifting, and gaining access during demanding structural firefighting operations. Combining a traditional New York-style hook with Halligan-style forks on the opposite end, the New York Claw provides firefighters with multiple forcible entry and overhaul functions in a single tool.

The Halligan-style forks feature thin profiles and sharp tips that help firefighters access tight spaces when prying and forcing entry. The crotch of the forks can also be used to operate gas meter valves, adding additional functionality during emergency operations. When additional leverage is needed during forcible entry, the forks can be positioned in a door or opening to provide increased mechanical advantage while prying.

Constructed with ends forged from special high-carbon steel and a thick-wall carbon steel tube body, the New York Claw is built for strength and dependable fireground performance. The tool ends are drop forged rather than cast for increased strength and long-term durability. The tool measures 3 feet in length, is available in Yellow or Black, does not include foam grip padding, and includes a strap for easier carrying and tool management.
