LeatherHead Tools Leatherhead Irons
The LeatherHead Tools Leatherhead Irons are a complete forcible entry tool set designed for firefighters performing forcible entry, ventilation, overhaul, and other demanding structural firefighting operations. The original LeatherHead Tools Irons set combines a 30-inch forged Halligan bar with a 6 lb. flat head axe, providing firefighters with two essential fireground tools in a matched configuration for efficient carrying and deployment.
The forged Halligan bar is constructed from American high-carbon steel for strength, durability, and dependable performance during prying, spreading, twisting, and forcible entry operations. Unlike pinned-together Halligan bars, the all-forged construction provides a rugged design built to withstand demanding professional use.
The 6 lb. flat head axe is designed for ventilation, forcible entry, and overhaul operations. Available configurations include fiberglass handles in Lime, Yellow, or Orange, as well as a heavy-duty Hickory handle. Select fiberglass models include reflective markings to help firefighters locate the tools in dark and low-light environments.
A Hi-Viz Velcro strap keeps the Halligan bar and flat head axe securely married during transport, apparatus storage, and periods when the tools are not in use. The matched configuration allows firefighters to carry both tools with one hand for efficient movement and deployment on the fireground.
