The Kussmaul Generator AC System Monitor (VAAFH Meter) is a comprehensive digital monitoring instrument designed to simultaneously display critical AC electrical data from vehicle-mounted generator systems. Featuring large 1/2-inch high-visibility green LED digits, the monitor displays AC voltage, AC frequency, and AC amperage on two separate legs simultaneously, allowing operators to quickly evaluate generator output and operating conditions from a single screen.

The VAAFH Meter supports generator systems up to 36 kW total output and includes two 150-amp current transformers and one voltage transducer. Programmable alarm thresholds continuously monitor generator voltage, frequency, and current. When an alarm condition is detected, the display provides a flashing red visual warning and activates the built-in 85 dB audible alarm. An output signal is also provided for connection to an external alarm relay.

An integrated hour meter records cumulative generator operating time and is displayed when the generator is off. Password-protected service interval settings allow operators to program maintenance intervals and receive service notifications. A four-button keypad with on-screen menus provides convenient configuration of monitoring functions, alarm thresholds, and display settings.

Designed for fire apparatus, rescue vehicles, and other emergency or specialty vehicles, the Generator AC System Monitor features a waterproof instrument face, four selectable display brightness levels, and a low-power sleep mode to help conserve vehicle batteries.
