The Kussmaul Euro Charger III is a fully automatic, triple-output battery charger designed to charge and maintain three separate 12-volt battery banks while supporting continuous parasitic DC loads. Engineered to meet CE requirements, the Euro Charger III provides an 18-amp total charging output and can be installed directly on fire apparatus, rescue vehicles, ambulances, and other emergency or specialty vehicles.

The charger uses precise voltage regulation to maintain consistent charging output despite changes in connected loads or AC input voltage. Active current limiting prevents charger output from exceeding its rated capacity when charging deeply discharged batteries or if the vehicle is started while connected to the charging system. The Euro Charger III automatically float charges connected batteries while supporting onboard equipment such as mobile data terminals, radios, hand lights, and other parasitic DC loads.

A front-panel ammeter provides convenient monitoring of total charger output current. Two optional remote display configurations are available: a two-LED indicator that displays AC power and charging output status, or a triple bar graph display that provides individual voltage status monitoring for each battery bank.

Built with a heavy-duty aluminum enclosure, protective front panel plate, and wire strain relief, the Euro Charger III is designed for demanding vehicle installations and supports 120/230 VAC, 50/60 Hz input power.
