The Kussmaul Auto Current F is a current-sensing control device designed to provide remote indication when one or more monitored electrical loads are energized. Designed for fire apparatus, ambulances, rescue vehicles, command vehicles, and other specialty vehicle electrical systems, the Auto Current F simplifies warning circuits by allowing a single remote indicator to monitor multiple lights, compartment circuits, or other electrical loads.

The Auto Current F is installed in series with the monitored electrical circuit and automatically detects current flow from 1 to 30 amps. When current is detected, the internal switch activates the remote indicator output. An integrated timer and load relay cause the connected indicator light to flash at 1-second intervals, creating a more noticeable warning signal for the vehicle operator. The indicator circuit may be electrically isolated from the monitored circuit or powered by the same vehicle battery, providing flexibility for different electrical system configurations. The Auto Current F is also available in -G configurations for applications requiring the indicator to be operated by grounding.
