The Kussmaul Auto Charge 35/10 is a fully automatic battery charger and Battery Saver system designed for emergency and specialty vehicles equipped with a single 12-volt battery bank. Providing 45 amps of total system output capacity, the Auto Charge 35/10 combines a high-output 35-amp battery charger with a separate 10-amp Battery Saver output to maintain the vehicle battery while supporting auxiliary equipment such as rechargeable hand lights and radios.

A patented built-in sensing circuit checks battery voltage 120 times per second and automatically compensates for voltage drop in the charging wires. This allows the charger to provide rapid battery recovery while maintaining proper charging voltage and helping prevent overcharging.

The integrated 10-amp Battery Saver automatically disconnects connected accessory loads from the vehicle battery when the charger is energized and powers them from its internal power supply. This helps prevent auxiliary equipment from discharging the vehicle battery while the apparatus is connected to shore power. Automatic overload current limiting protects the Battery Saver circuit when connected loads exceed its rated capacity.

A remote bar graph display is included for convenient monitoring of battery charge status. Front-panel indicators provide visual notification when AC input power is applied and when the Battery Saver circuit is overloaded. Built with a heavy-duty aluminum enclosure, the Auto Charge 35/10 is designed to withstand demanding vehicle-mounted applications.
