The Kussmaul Auto Charge 11 HO is a fully automatic, high-output battery charger designed to independently charge and maintain two 12-volt battery banks. Engineered for vehicles with dual battery systems, the charger uses two completely independent charging and sensing circuits to control voltage and current to each battery based on its individual condition and electrical demands.

Because each battery bank is independently monitored and charged, parasitic electrical loads connected to one battery do not affect the charging performance of the other. The Auto Charge 11 HO automatically proportions the available charging current between the two battery banks as required. If one battery does not require charging, the available output current can be directed to the other battery to optimize use of the charger's 20-amp total output capacity.

A front-panel ammeter provides convenient monitoring of total charger output current. The charger also provides an output connection for optional remote bar graph displays or LED indicators, allowing the installation to be customized with remote battery and charging status monitoring.
